The main focus of your work will be to learn the art and science of delivering high quality sports and rehabilitative therapy techniques and becoming a competent member of the team. Initially as a trainee assistant practitioner we will be teaching you the fundamentals of Anatomy, Physiology and Integrative medicine. You will be required to aid and assist our current practi-tioners and your mentors in the delivery of clinical services that include but are not limited to cupping therapy, manual thera-pies, exercise therapy, acupuncture, hijama (AKA blood cupping), the graston technique and physical stretch protocols. All of these roles require physical abilities and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the clinical spaces, using our computer and note taking systems, capturing social media content and educating patients on the products and services we offer at the clinic as well as guiding and coaching them through their individual rehabilitative jour-neys. Your primary location of work will be in the Spinny Hills area of Leicester (LE5 3SD) however you may be required to work shifts in both our Bristol and Cardiff Clinics on occasions. You will be expected to maintain a positive and vibrant atmos-phere at all times while operating in complete alignment and congruency with the objectives of your team, clinic and patient needs. Your role will be to lead by example and inspire others into making positive lifestyle changes by expressing a deep un-derstanding of their physical, mental, emotional and nutritional needs before communicating their pathway to optimal function and on-going wellness care. You will deal with a very diverse patient base and will encounter many opportunities for growth. Your training will involve in house and external sources of education as well as online study.

You don’t have to have a background in clinical science or health but a keen interest in health, sports and fitness with an im-peccable attitude to learn a new craft and be the best you can be while showing care, value and respect to your fellow peers and mentors is essential. A background in sales, customer service and the ability to independently travel are all complemen-tary skills to the roll. Being self motivated, driven and disciplined are qualities that we will be looking for as well as an ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Full days Thursdays and Saturdays with half days Monday, Tues-days and Fridays.

National Minimum Wage

1. Time keeping and attendance will be managed with a simple check in and check out sheet which is currently used for all staff members.
2. during the training the young person will be trained on many forms of communication and many aspects of customer service. This will be practiced on a daily basis. The young person will be working along side a family like team on a daily basis constantly reaching targets and goals as a team.
3. the young person will under go a 2 week training about the clinic before they start the training about their specific role. they will have constant communication and constructive feedback within this period. The training will consist of both observation, sit down learning and practice within the role.
4. the young person will gain many skills within their training and on the job. we will aid them with support on how to take interviews and what their keys strengths are for cvs and resumes.
