JOB SUMMARY
Meadow Brown Restaurants are pleased to announce that we are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our friendly team.

We are looking for enthusiastic, bubbly and helpful individuals to assist with the day to day running of the operation. Duties would include engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction. Assisting the Front of House Team with service to make sure that service is efficient and flows as it should. Liaise with customers to gain feedback on service.

Applicants must be available to work weekends.

SKILLS NEEDED
We provide support for the job description, making the application, and a discussion about how to support young employees which will include individual and (where relevant) group based support through a suite of activities which will include (where appropriate):

networking, contact development, identifying future job opportunities
qualifications e.g. CREST Award, Arts Award
courses in e.g. Makaton, Safeguarding, First Aid Training, Lynda, Coursera, SQL, Python and Tableau.

We will monitor the placement including holding three-way checkpoint meetings (TMC staff, the young person and their line manager) and work with the employer on evaluation.

Our support package will include:
A facilitated weekly online ‘hangout’ where young people can share their experiences, challenges and triumphs. These sessions will include a discussion on an employment-related topic linked to a video of a Ted Talk or similar stimulus material

WORKING HOURS
3 days per week 8am-5pm. Weekends included. Potential for 5 days per week during busier periods.

HOURLY RATE
NMW + 15p per hour

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Our friendly team will be on hand to guide the applicant, they will be working as part of a team. Communication is key to successful teamwork.
We will provide online training relevant to our business via our BrightSafe software. We will also provide in house training, applicants will spend time in different areas of the operation and as such will gain barista training, till training and customer service training.
The training provided online, they will receive a certificate for which can be added to their portfolio. The skill set learned will provide the applicant with positive experience that they can add to their CV, senior staff members can help with CV writing if required.
