JOB SUMMARY
The core marketing team is spread across the Manchester and Oxford studios, and has experience spanning bid management, marketing communications, copywriting, graphic design, event management and web/social media management. We work flexibly to support the whole practice with bid submissions and raising the profile of the practice.
The ideal candidate for the Marketing and Communications Assistant role will have strong writing skills, be highly organised, efficient and with exceptional attention to detail.
They should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter together with associated analytics. Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud is advantageous, although not essential.

The role will involve:

Working with sector directors and the graphic designer to produce written thought leadership pieces
Providing support to the marketing team and directors with copyediting and proofing content for range of purposes

Using WordPress to manage updates to our ADP and Corde websites

Writing social posts and analysis of social media impact

Updating project information and imagery as part of a new database

Supporting team members with other copywriting tasks, such as for events, press and profiles.

SKILLS NEEDED
Graduate

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a busy, deadline-oriented environment engaging with senior staff across the business
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise activities and multi-task
Good attention to detail

WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday

HOURLY RATE
10.68
