JOB SUMMARY
This role within the Commercial team will require you to offer excellent customer service and administration.
You will be the first point of contact for many of our advertisers and will provide administrative support to Media Sales and Design colleagues.
You will also liaise with colleagues across the Media Sales department to assist with the sales process and help manage the smooth process from bookings to reporting and artwork collection and management.
The role will involve: Liaising with advertisers for digital adverts and print advertising copy to meet production deadlines; Scheduling digital advertising campaigns through Google Ad Manager and uploading artwork; Coordinating e-newsletter artwork and advertising; liaising with both internal and external teams; Chasing outstanding artwork and sending to our production, client and internal teams; Dealing with account enquiries from advertisers/customers or MSU teams; Contributing to sales team meetings to help improve performance, and collating artwork; Organising and sending magazines and advertising reports to advertisers; General administration, supporting publishing sales activities and other reasonable duties and projects as required; Coordinating schedules with clients, MSU and other colleagues.
The role will be based in Cambridge (1 Cambridge Technopark, Newmarket Road, Cambridge, CB5 8PB, UK) and applicants will be required to work in our modern office at least four out of five days in the working week, to be discussed and agreed on a case by case basis. Parking is available, but the office is also accessible by public transport.

SKILLS NEEDED
Desired skills and experience: Desire to work in an office based administrative role; Willingness to learn, and aptitude for working with computer systems and databases (including Microsoft Office, Pulse Publisher, Google AdManager/DoubleClick for Publishers); communication and interpersonal skills to support advertisers and colleagues; Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise own activities to deliver against deadlines.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
1. The young person will be working in teams where good communication is the bedrock of success. Daily and weekly team meetings are held, including an all-company meeting every Monday morning. Good internal and external communication is facilitated and highly valued. We use tools including online communication tools such as Google Hangouts and Chats, and email. We will encourage and mentor them to write effective, clear emails and speak on the phone, as well as how to get their point across, or convey information, face to face in a meeting.

2. Much of the training given will be by shadowing and learning 'on the job'. Training on digital platforms for example Wordpress CMS, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics and Pulse, and webinar and digital learning programmes will supplement colleague training. We encourage continuous learning and will provide links and resource so they can immerse themselves in our industry and the industries of our clients.

3. The person will have sessions with our HR manager on CV writing and they will see how the skills they have learned are transferable, and therefore how to look broadly at career opportunities. A dedicated mentor will help them to understand the roles and fields open to them. We will use our audio visual expertise to do filmed mock interviews for training purposes. We will introduce the young person to recent joiners, to get 'real life' experience of job hunting.
