Established in 2007, LearnPlay Foundation are passionate about delivering a range of programmes and projects to engage the hard to reach into education, community and personal development. The LearnPlay Foundation provide film production, editing, computer game programming, design, distribution, direct marketing, promotional activities and much more. The team are seeking a passionate, motivated and caring individual for the following Kickstart Placement: Game Developer.

Due to the pandemic, all business development is currently being delivered remotely using a range of digital interventions, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Discord. Delivery will move to face to face as and when it is safe and appropriate to do so. As such, successful candidates must be able to travel to our Wolverhampton based office.

Attending client meetings to: understand client requirements, discuss design approach and scope out ideas and update on project progress.
Work towards becoming proficient in industry standard design software such as Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop et cetera.
Design creatives for the company social media channels.
Design still and animated creatives and contribute design to game development, web development and video production department.
Liaise and oversee design process for client merchandise.
Understand design for print and all print requirements including spacing, layout, margins et cetera.
Produce pitch decks, marketing decks and digital design for marketing.

A creative drive.

Ability to articulate design ideas.
Basic numeracy and literacy.

Actual hours to be confirmed. Availability required: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.
