JOB SUMMARY
The person will get training in the relevant area of teaching, such as in the Arts, Business, and English language. The person will help to prepare teaching materials, documents, handouts and work alongside an experienced member of staff. This will all be done online due to the Covid situation. Beyond that (if the pandemic situation allows) the majority of the work can still be done online, but with a small number of weekly hours at the central London offices.

This is a home-based role, but you must be able to commute to the business college on occasion for team training. The location is London, WC1B 3QJ.

SKILLS NEEDED
To become a Trainee Teaching Assistant, the right person needs to be someone that is presentable, with good organisational skills, good time management, and good communication skills. The right person must have as minimum studied at A level or preferably to BA Degree Level. The person must be computer literate and keen to learn about the world of Education and Teaching. For the right person, this could be the start of a long and rewarding career.

Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
The person will start with an induction by a key member of staff. They will then be linked with an appropriate mentor who they will shadow for the first month to gain a deeper knowledge and insight into the role they will be play at later stage. From month two, this person will work alongside their mentor or other experienced member of staff in their designated role.

The employee will receive 1-2-1 career coaching sessions once a month via Microsoft Teams with a Supplytrain CIC careers coach.

These coaching sessions will help you to develop work skills, talk through opportunity and challenges in the workplace and help you prepare for sustained employment
