Our Amicable Street factory has a laboratory, BS/EN testing room and a quality control department. We manufacture from raw material, stocking finished goods for distribution to the rest of the N&C Building Product Group and to its direct customers.
A varied and interesting role that will allow the successful candidate s to build a varied skill set in the specialist area of repairs and maintenance. The role will involve the maintenance of a variety of production equipment and repairs and maintenance of other plant and premises.
Repair & Maintenance Trainees will be supervised and trained appropriately, ensuring that they develop a skill set that will benefit their future careers.
Successful candidates will be working within the factory, offices, laboratories, finished goods warehouse and externally within our premises.

• To communicate effectively with your Supervisor and Manager.
• Be aware of your surroundings and follow your Health & Safety training.
• To always wear the Personal Protective Equipment issued to you.
• Be punctual and contribute positively alongside the rest of your colleagues.
• Being practically minded, enjoying practical tasks with an interest in how things work.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Support from the company throughout your placement to develop work skills. As well as 1-2-1 careers advice sessions from Supplytrain on a monthly basis helping you to get the most out of your placement and move into sustainable employment.
The employee will receive 1-2-1 career coaching sessions once a month via Microsoft Teams with a Supplytrain CIC careers coach.
These coaching sessions will help you to develop work skills, talk through opportunity and challenges in the workplace and help you prepare for sustained employment.
