Nicobond are high quality manufacturers of tiling and flooring products with over 60 years’ experience manufacturing in the UK. Our Amicable Street factory has a laboratory, BS/EN testing room and a quality control department. We manufacture from raw material, stocking finished goods for distribution to the rest of the N&C Building Product Group and to its direct customers.
A varied and interesting role that will offer the successful candidates training and experience in every aspect of the manufacturing process. In this role you will be required to:
• Handle raw materials
• Use a range of production machinery
• Package and palletise materials.
Candidates should be happy with an active/physical role that involves the lifting and moving materials and products.

• The ability to listen and follow instructions.
• To communicate effectively with your Production Operative buddy.
• Be aware of your surroundings and follow your Health & Safety training.
• To always wear the Personal Protective Equipment issued to you.
• Be punctual and contribute positively alongside the rest of your colleagues.


National Minimum Wage

Support from the company throughout your placement to develop work skills. As well as 1-2-1 careers advice sessions from Supplytrain on a monthly basis helping you to get the most out of your placement and move into sustainable employment.
The employee will receive 1-2-1 career coaching sessions once a month via Microsoft Teams with a Supplytrain CIC careers coach.

These coaching sessions will help you to develop work skills, talk through opportunity and challenges in the workplace and help you prepare for sustained employment.
