JOB SUMMARY
Team member/Customer attendant at Mangal is the first point of contact for all customer queries, responsible for taking orders and serving food and drinks and maintaining working areas clean. Responsibilities will include: prepare food and drinks in accordance with customer orders, maintain stock displays in line with manager instructions, cash and payment handling, cleaning work areas and equipment/machinery, assisting General manager in any aspect of store/kiosk/operation.

SKILLS NEEDED
A natural team player, achieving results is nice, but achieving results with the team is simply the best. You have high energy always working towards the same common goal together with your teammates, can-do mentality - you will like to get your hands dirty, bringing a plan to actual results is what drives you. Good organisation skills, good time management, good communications skills, efficient and able to work at pace, accuracy and good attention to detail, self-motivation.

We will provide an online Employability Skills Development course which takes an activity-based approach to raising learners’ awareness about employer expectations and the working environment. Developed in response to an increasing national focus on work-related learning, it will meet the needs of providers looking for a programme of activities to support learners in preparation for vocational training, for achieving an employability qualification, or for getting a job.

Our Employability Skills Development resources purchased from Asdan, support teaching and learning; they aim to improve learners’ knowledge and understanding of the workplace. The young applicants will get support with basic work skills such as: attendance, timekeeping, communication, teamwork, work ethic and discipline, interpersonal relationships, data protection, safeguarding at work, professionalism and travelling to work.

They will also get help to improve their CVs and train for interviews with the ultimate goal to look for long term work.
