Consultant General and Adolescent Paediatrician in specialist safeguarding at the Lighthouse

We are seeking an energetic highly skilled paediatric consultant to join our team at the Lighthouse which is a unique service for children and young people who have been victims of historic sexual abuse. The service is in its third year and University College Hospital is the lead provider.

The post holder would work 2 days (4 PAs - 3 clinics 1 SPA) based at the Lighthouse in Camden. It is a multiagency service which includes health, advocacy, social care, police, and emotional wellbeing therapeutic support to children and young people and their families.

Applicants must be in possession of a CCT/CCST or equivalent in paediatrics, or within 6 months of achieving CCT. Eligibility for full GMC registration is required. Depending on the applicants experience and availability, there is scope for negotiating the number of PAs, along with training in the field. The post is for a FTC for 6 months.
