The School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, qualified to PhD level, in the field of Biomedical Sciences (BMS). Although we are looking for someone with expertise across the field of BMS, we would particularly value someone with experience of Bioinformatics.

You should have a good record of publishing in peer reviewed journals and ideally have some success in obtaining research funding. You will be expected to make an active contribution to the research profile of the school.

You will contribute towards teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels on courses including BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, MSc Medical Biotechnology, and other related subjects. You will be committed to excellence in teaching at all levels. You will also make a significant contribution into the design and management of degree pathways.
You will have drive, an innovative approach to learning, teaching and research, and enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
