Your new organisation are North East Cleaning and Maintenance Limited, we are based in Bill Quay Gateshead. We are a family run business with over 35 years experience combined in the Housing Sector carrying out Domestic Maintenance and cleaning. Our office is in a media centre which is able to accommodate 3 people there are also 2 kitchens and space to relax and enjoy complimentary hot drinks. We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our team as a Office Assistant Administrator.
Your role will be to support the company director and office manager in all aspects of the business dealing with emails answering telephone calls, this will allow you to develop or add to and customer service and communication skills you may or may not have. You will gain valuable experience and develop your administration skills during your placement with the guidance and supervision of those more experienced members of the team.

You will be given instruction on how to collate relevant information together when requested to by those members of the teams you will be supporting. As you develop and progress in your role you will be shown how to order materials and evidence this. You will help and learn how to use the filing systems within the business. Other duties may include site visits with Manager or Director to check on jobs, this will give you valuable experience on how to conduct yourself and how to professionally communicate with clients and customers.

We are excited to bring on an injection of youth to our business. All training will be given on a day to day basis and if we believe we are the right fit each other we would be delighted to offer a permanent role to you.

Have good verbal and written skills and have a good telephone manner.

You will receive industry training relevant to your role. Alongside this Core Selection will provide wrap around employability training for you to ensure you are able to succeed in any future careers you wish to pursue.
Wraparound employability training and support will be given from the Gateway provider Core Selection and this will be delivered via an online training portal Mi-Crow which is 6 months of relevant training modules. This will combined with one to one coaching with an assigned Core Selection Learning and Development coach.

Full Microsoft suit training
Customer service training
Sales training
There will be 1:1 Mentoring and Feedback on a constant basis to ensure the Kickstarter has progression goals.
The candidate will also receive weekly 1:1 support and mentoring with their line manager, ensuring there are set objectives and targets, and these are adhered to. The line manager and mentor will work closely with the successful candidate to ensure learning is absorbed and the skills and knowledge they need to become successful in the role.
