Hotel TV Company is a specialist supplier & system integrator of commercial TVs, TV Systems, In-Room Entertainment and other technology solutions across UK & Ireland. We are a small but very successful, vibrant company, dealing with a wide variety of clients in the hospitality, healthcare & retail sectors.
Training will be provided.
We are looking for an ambitious, results driven individual to join our installation & warehouse team and be responsible for successful projects delivery, stock handling & warehouse maintenance.
This is a hybrid role incorporating both office-based tasks as well as travelling across the UK & Ireland for installations. The role may require an overnight stay on-site in some occasions where works cant be completed within a working day.
We are seeking individuals who a willing to learn, have the right attitude and want to progress in their future .
Responsibilities include travel to site for installation of equipment and ensure all equipment is working correctly, configuration of TVs, TV Systems, Chromecast and other equipment-this includes but is not limited to taking TVs out the box for manual settings configuration, network connection, channel tuning (where applicable), settings cloning from one TV to another, TV system server configuration with correct settings, content, IP allocation etc, keeping record of serial numbers and other identification information of all equipment prepared for installation, allocating TVs & other equipment to a specific room (based on client requirements) and labelling each unit correctly with their corresponding room, communication with the client during project delivery and obtain signed satisfaction of completion document.
Technical Product Training-the candidate will be trained on understanding technology in the hospitality, healthcare & retail sectors, our B2B product portfolio, latest products for in-room entertainment, this will also include technical training on the installation & configuration of each product in our portfolio.
Customer Services Training-the candidate will be trained and gain experience in understanding how to speak to customers on-site, assess any issues and recommend/deploy the correct solutions, understanding how to handle any problems during on-site installation, how to keep record of the works they have completed and how to get a sign-off from a customer.
Warehouse Management-the candidate will gain experience in manual handling, stock allocation & stock adjustment, how to use the re-work area safely and handle large packages. Other Training how to use the phone system, Health & Safety.
The candidate needs to have the aptitude to work on construction sites, must be flexible with their working hours and be available to be on call, must be a holder of a full driving licence for attending site, must be willing to travel and on occasions work away from home, must be physically fit, able to lift and move heavy packages and objects, good communication skills both verbal and written (able to speak with customers in a collected, polite manner), IT Literate (able to use Word, Excel, Outlook), technically minded (able to understand and undertake complex actions, tasks, and processes relating to technology configuration), able to follow processes and procedure accurately and able to work in a small team and remain motivated.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Pathway will be delivering weekly employment support sessions (of 1-2 hours dependant on individual need) to the young people participating in the scheme, which are designed to progress young people into permanent roles at the earliest opportunity. This support will continue throughout the period the individual is on the Kickstart programme and will be delivered in a blended way, using traditional face to face and on-line. The employment support offer will include CV development, job searching skills (to ensure a proficiency in on-line activity), support and guidance on completing on-line applications, interview preparation, interview skills and pastoral/motivational support should job applications not be successful. Pathway will monitor the support given using a Learner Management System PICS, which will track the support given and use distance travelled measures to monitor and track the development of employability skills and individuals confidence in applying for jobs. This approach enables the employment support team to continually tailor support throughout the Job Placement and ensures that all participants are highly employable at the end of the period. As socially responsible organisations, participant satisfaction, the quality of Job Placements and the support offered by the Pathway team are all hugely important to the group. The group are committed to making a positive difference in the communities we operate in; therefore, we will complete participant surveys at 2, 4 and 6 months of the Job Placement.
