Inspiration Limited

• The role for a print and decoration operator will involve many aspects including embroidery, factory work, learning print, quality control and time management.
• Training will be provided during employment in all areas.
• The role will involve but not be limited to pre print processing. The pre print involves preparing all equipment needed to complete the print required.
• The successful applicant will be taught how to make jigs for setting machinery which involves exposing and hardening screens. Machine setting involves tool making and making sure the screen that’s been made is correct and fits the desired products. As well as machinery, there are manual screen printing stations.
• You will be taught how to screen print by hand and shown how to use the correct pressure. Y
• ou will also be shown how to set up and operate the tampo printer which is sometimes referred as ‘pad printing’.
• Again, you will be taught the process from start to finish like screen printing.

You will learn and understand a multitude of print techniques and be able to complete the process from start to finish.

• Any screen printing experience would be desired however as on the job training is provided this is not essential.
• We are looking for someone driven and energetic.
• Please be aware, the role will involve being on your feet for majority of the day.
• There will also be a large element of manual handling, this can be on items up to 20kg.

Monday - Friday. Opening hours are 8am - 5.30pm. Individual hours to be confirmed

National Minimum Wage

The young person will be working alongside our experienced printers. They will train them in all printing processes including pre and post print. During their day they will need to collaborate with other employees assisting with a job or letting them know vital information to do with the job in hand.

The candidate will receive training in pre print, which includes setting a machine up for print, applying emulsion to screens and exposing screens. They would also be trained in printing and print fault finding and how to correct the faults. Additionally, they will learn the post print process. This includes cleaning down, stripping screens and removing emulsion for the next job. They would also be trained in other general factory work, including pallet wrapping, warehouse picking and learning about goods in – goods out.

The Kickstarter will gain a multitude of printing skills, this includes screen, tampo, digital and embroidery. This would give the chosen candidate the ability to thrive in any print production environment.

As we work as a team you will learn good communication skills and be able to transfer these skills to any business or sector
