• Providing general support to the site management team to ensure sites are kept clean and tidy, and free from potential health and safety hazards.

• Providing general support to trades operatives to enable them to provide an efficient service.

• Maintain a quality, safe site.

• General site duties in support of specific trades on site.

This placement is a training level position, which for the right person could develop into a permanent position with Seddon Homes. An excellent Opportunity.

Site operating hours are 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the business, the daily start and end times may vary from time to time

Full induction and performance review process.

We will also be using the support package provided by HBF through Pathway CTM which will include as a minimum the following:

Development of Employability Skills
Placement participant access to a portal and framework of employability learning material
CV writing advice and creation, support that will enable them to leave with a strong CV
How to set up a LinkedIn profile
How to develop cover letters
What to expect at Assessment Centres, how to prepare for them
Interview preparation and techniques and skills creating a strategy to get jobs
Job search advice
Access to the portal of advice and information will remain available to the participant until 30 June 2022 - the end of the Kickstart Scheme.

This will be delivered by a mix of blended learning including reading, interactive activity, watching videos and access to pre-recorded and live webinars.

Tracked Learning - Access to 3 Online Learning Modules, where young people can explore and test themselves, at their own pace around My Knowledge, My Personal Brand and My Interview & Assessment Toolkit. The aim is to complete and pass all 8 sessions within these modules.

Each activity the participant undertakes will be time stamped and recorded to show that they have undertaken the training.

Skills and industry insight - Access to view over 150 Company Profiles across all industries, and access to live, and recorded evening webinars to learn from some of these employers and the skills and attributes they see as being important to gaining employment.

The Home Builders Federation - Skills Partnership will also direct participants to its Home Building Careers website that gives them insight into the industry, the breadth of careers on offer and entry routes in, Home Building employer contacts and links to existing vacancies, case studies from real people who have joined the industry.
