Customer Service Branch Assistant
Who is Buildbase and what is a Builder’s Merchant?
A Builders Merchant sells building and construction materials to a range of different customers, from long-standing builders with years of experience in their trade to the do it yourself DIYers. Whether you are serving people in branch, working in the warehouse, or out interacting with customers in the yard, your role is to help give our customers great customer service.
We are looking for someone who can thrive in a customer focused environment, who enjoys problem solving and wants to progress in their career.
What will it be like?
As a Customer Service Branch Assistant, you will learn about all the different areas of a branch. This will include:
Serving our customers
Helping out in the yard or warehouse
Working in the shop area, keeping our standards high
Helping out in the office
Your role may also include spending some time in the Showroom if the branch you are located in has one

SKILLS NEEDED
We are looking for people who are willing to learn and get stuck in. We’re not looking for any particular qualifications as we strongly believe having a brilliant attitude is the most important quality.

WORKING HOURS
During training-10am-3pm Monday-Friday. After approx. 2 months hours will be adjusted, agreed on a local level (suggest 8am-1pm Monday-Friday)

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage for your age group
