JOB SUMMARY
Web Designer We are hiring a senior and junior web designer. The Web Designer will play a key role in the design and development of the new online brand identity for the company. More specifically you will design and build a cutting edge online presence for the firm. This will entail designing and building a secure and scalable page layout, an intuitive and attractive UX performing statistical analysis integrating with third party platforms through restful or other web APIs. The applicant must have a strong commercial portfolio demonstrating their ability to design attractive interfaces that communicate clearly meet contemporary usability standards pair with branding harmoniously and foster positive UX outcomes. The web designer must be able to think independently and enjoy working without supervision
Compensation Competitive package based on qualifications and experience of the applicant subject to Kickstarter scheme with additional incentives for the right candidate beyond the initial six month period
Work Conditions The Web Designers normal working hours are between 8am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. Flexible working hour arrangements may be available. All work is remote

SKILLS NEEDED
Required skills are
Creative and aesthetic visual display ability, Strong UI design know how for visibility standards. Responsive design expertise. Understanding of UX principles and UCD techniques. Advanced Adobe photo shop. Illustrator skills.
Basic skills
Diverse art action and creative graphic design capabilities. Artwork slicing and exporting for web optimised graphics eg JPG GIF PNG. Front and web development eg logo and symbol design marketing collateral
Education and Training
No formal education required self learners welcome
Languages
Good written and spoken English
