An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 OT to be involved in the delivery of our Post Covid Service.
This is a rewarding and challenging post in a new service which has been commissioned to assess, recognise, investigate and support patients with Post Covid Syndrome. We are moving onto developing our education, self management and rehabilitation programme and are looking for the person who is successful in this post to support that development while also undertaking triage and assessments of patients with this often complex condition.
Our post-Covid Service is working in line with national guidance, service specification and standards to offer assessments and ongoing support and rehabilitation where appropriate for people with post covid syndrome
We are looking for the right person who has a passion for patient centered, supportive care within a multi-professional team, with prior expertise, knowledge and training in complex, patient focused assessment, goal identification, coaching and self-management with a strong understanding of physical health and mental wellbeing and the possible symptoms and complications for patients with post-Covid syndrome. The successful post holder would be working alongside our existing OT's in triage and assessment, as well as specialist areas of work such as fatigue management, cognitive assessment, vocational assessment , pain management and rehabilitation with an Occupational therapy focus.
