Radiotherapy Digital Transformation Implementation Lead Therapeutic Radiographer (Band 8B) Chelsea & Sutton

An exciting project has arisen for an experienced, caring, and highly motivated therapeutic radiographer to work as an 8B leader in radiotherapy at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Chelsea and Sutton. We are looking for a practitioner with an excellent technical background and is currently working as an effective and strategic leader and manager in a sophisticated radiotherapy environment. The ideal candidate whilst being a capable self-starter will also relish working as part of a team, and will be able to provide strong leadership, and will have proven exemplary communication skills.
We are about to embark on an exciting period of transformation into a paper free environment in radiotherapy at RM whilst also implementing a new DHR (Digital Health Record) Trust wide so are looking for a strong, enthusiastic and compellingly positive personality to be instrumental in the design and delivery of this project on time. We need a new peer who has enthusiasm for change as well as a desire to bring their previous digital experience to life at the Royal Marsden!
The department at Chelsea is home to 4 Varian linear accelerators, a CyberKnife and a Brachytherapy Suite while at Sutton in addition to 7 Elekta linear accelerators, the dept has an Elekta MR linear accelerator, CyberKnife unit and Gulmay superficial unit.
Whilst the Fulham Road is in the heart of vibrant Chelsea it is of note that the London borough of Sutton has exceptional transport links into London and is situated on the edge of the beautiful North Downs. There is on-site childcare available, as well as a shuttle bus service.
