An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Care Division for a 2 year contract. To provide a comprehensive clerical and receptionist within the Paediatric Department as you shall rotate around to gain a broader experience to help you in a future career, hopefully within the NHS. The post involves receiving and handling information which is confidential and therefore the post holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Alongside this you will be working towards NVQ level 2/3 in Business Admin via a college provider.

You must also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must be able to prioritise your workload working to deadlines, work effectively on your own and as part of the administration team in supporting the Care Unit. Familiarity of general office equipment and proficient use of computer packages are also all essential requirements.

Duties will include front of house, face to face receptionist service to all patients and visitors, maintaining patient notes and Medway system, filing, and producing documents to a high standard, ensuring that accuracy and confidentiality is maintained.

To be successful in this role you will possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills, to include GCSE Maths and English grade A–C (or equivalent) and be familiar with general office equipment and filing systems. You must have effective communication skills and be adaptable to meet the service needs.
