We envisage that the candidate will assist in the following during the 6 month placement and will become proficient in the areas below.
We are looking to developing and producing a competent site labourer who will help with the day to day smooth running of the allocated site.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and able to support existing site teams with Groundworks and general Civil Engineering activities and so gaining experience of working in this environment.
To promote the reputation and image of the Company which is conducive to winning future work and securing yours and your workmates employment.
To look out for the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of your fellow workmates and all those working on the site
Ensuring that you attend and complete all required training that will be supplied by the Company,
To adhere to the Companys Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures at all times,
To comply with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures and rules of all of the Companys Clients,
To have a good attitude towards the work and goals of the business,
To uphold a no compromise attitude to improving Site Safety,
To carry out the work assigned to you in a safe and timely manner and to strive for the highest standards of workmanship,
To look after all PPE, tools and equipment supplied by the Company and not to deface them in any way.
To work as part of a team in order to achieve the goals set out by the Site Management team
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation
The candidate will be required to travel to a site based in Harry Stoke South Gloucestershire, accessible by bus and train or is able to drive.
To maintain good punctuality
Site hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday over 5 days, specific times to be agreed

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
We will support the candidate by instilling in them the importance of basic work skills and Timekeeping.
The candidate will study online courses such as Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Fire Awareness, Mental Health Awareness amongst others, which will produce certificates that can be shown to prospective employers.
At the end of the placement the candidate will have completed training which can be put onto a CV for future work applications. The experienced gained in the 6 month placement will be valuable for future employers.
Any young person wishing to stay in the industry can obtain a CSCS Labourers card whilst with us.
Throughout the 6 month placement we will be guiding the young person to a point where they
Are comfortable in being in an interview
Have qualifications to show that they have gained experience in certain areas
