Company Description
With head offices in Poole, Dorset, the company manufactures and supplies dry and oil-free compressors, vacuum pumps, high speed turbo and side channel blowers as well as other types of machines produced by others. These are often sold as packaged units.

Job holder to be a computer literate team player, able to use Microsoft office and have a good telephone manner. Job holder will be expected to use initiative when required, seeking direction from lateral colleagues or management when unsure or required.
Directly reporting to the Business Development Manager
Cooperating with all Company Departments / Managers
Sales Function
Process incoming sales enquires, placing them on Progress Plus ( ERP ) system
Create and issue sales quotations using Progress Plus
Monitor the progress of sales enquiries on a daily/weekly basis
Action sales activities such as trade shows and presentations
Assist the Sales Manager and provide a communication link to both internal and external stakeholders when required
Regularly maintain and update sales pricing and price lists
Communicate with Company suppliers as and when required
Customer Services and Aftersales
To undertake customer service functions – providing constructive communications between the Company and its customers
To answer and communicate with the company’s clients both verbally and electronically
To provide status updates to clients as required
To liaise with Engineering and production – providing status updates as required to both internal and external customers

Any other reasonable duties required by the Company .

The Company will provide detailed training in the use of the ERP system ( Enterprise Resource and Planning ) product and appliaction portfolio as well as general office duties.

No specific qualifications are necessary although GCSE's would be beneficial
