The Product Assistant is responsible for supporting the Product & Licensing Team with all administrative tasks to enable the team to manage and deliver projects smoothly and in line with targets. They will be a key member of the team with responsibilities including; setting up items on our internal system, requesting quotes from external suppliers, raising purchase orders, organising samples, running product reports and assisting with developing product handovers.
They will also be the first point of contact within the Product Team for other departments within the business helping with all internal queries and ensure that all new product information is communicated clearly and efficiently between teams. They will also assist with all final checks before new product launches, working closely with the Marketing and Customer Care team to ensure product accuracy.
The role also will include liaising with our in-house Design Team to brief in amends to projects and also dealing with our licensors, such as Disney to manage the product approvals process.

SKILLS NEEDED
The candidate will need strong administration and organisational skills, with excellent grammar, spelling and maths (GSCE C or above in English and Maths is desirable).
They will have excellent communication and good attention to detail with an ability to work as part of a team and alone, successfully prioritising their own workload. They will need an ability to remain calm under pressure and pride themselves on delivering high quality work and be confident speaking with external contacts.
Aside from these skills the candidate will learn how to be part of a team and interact with the wider business in order to build good working relationships that will enhance their knowledge and understanding of business processes

WORKING HOURS
8:30am - 5:00pm Mon-Fri

HOURLY RATE

Employability Skills Training:
This will mainly be provided for our placement by our Gateway organisation, WorkAdvisor. A ten-week e-learning programme covering all the requirements of the scheme. Progress will be monitored by WorkAdvisor and the employer.
