You would gain a fantastic insight into the workings of a Local Authority, discover more about the employment and skills landscape in Swindon, and gain skills in IT, project coordination, and management of meetings as well as contributing to web development and promotion.

The role will be mainly working remotely, but there is the opportunity to go into the office on an ad hoc basis, (covid permitting), which is situated near the Civic Offices in the centre of Swindon.

The L&OD team will work alongside the service areas that have the placements to support each person on placement, to provide training, performance and behavioural growth, with the aim of giving each person the best opportunity in their next step in their career
