To develop the marketing and online visibility of the PATA Managed Groups and to support with the continual updating of the PATA website. To enhance PATA’s social media presence and support with other marketing related activities.
The key tasks of the successful applicant will be to create a standardised template for PMG websites which is easy to maintain, work with setting staff populate the websites for each individual setting and where settings already have websites work on standardising and quality control for content.
Support the existing team with updating information and maintaining the PATA website and use SEO to increase website traffic/visibility.
Help to develop a social media strategy, building on the existing social media presence on Facebook and Twitter and develop a presence on other platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn etc) as appropriate.
Support with other marketing admin tasks as required.
Experience of website design and/or social media;
good IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher and a willingness to learn;
professional in conduct, behaviour and all communications; understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work; willingness to ask for clarity or help in areas where there is a lack of knowledge and/or understanding.

PATA will be providing a structure of training and support for the Kickstart employee through our organisation. All job placements made through PATA will provide invaluable experience for the young people and give them the opportunity to fully experience working in a dynamic office environment. There will also be additional virtual training opportunities.
Each Kickstart employee will receive expert advice and have the support and expertise of experienced staff members (with a dedicated Mentor) in the office. They will also have a PATA tutor/mentor who will be assigned to all Kickstart employees (giving 1-1 support and group support) either in person or via Zoom.
Each Kickstart employee will receive employability skills training to enhance their work and employability skills to achieve and fulfil their career ambitions and goals – support completing application forms, writing a CV and interview preparation; basic skills including attendance, timekeeping and working as part of a team; equality and diversity training, mental health and wellbeing support (including dealing with stress and techniques to help with stress); on-line safety.
This will develop their job seeking skills and experience to help them recognise employment opportunities to find work once their Kickstart employment has ended. This will give them the communication and confidence skills to make choices in pursuit of personal goals.
