Blue Lane Holdings is setting up various small businesses in the technology, ecommerce, and product design space. Blue Lane is broken down into other business units, including Mumble Books, Atmo Books, Lamway, Tristom Labs, Innovative Product Ventures (IPV), and Blue Wonder Commerce.

The key responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to:
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to come and work for us to help load balance administrative duties across our busy executive team.
This is a great role for someone who is interested in learning lots of new things over the next couple of years.
Experience with the full Microsoft Office Suite
The capacity to work alone or as part of a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong initiative and problem solving skills
Example Projects/Business As Usual Activities
Here are examples of the kinds of things you will be asked to do:
Managing the CEO’s/Senior Leaders day-to-day calendar, including inbox management, arranging meetings and prioritising appointments accordingly
Administrative assistance, such as typing emails and taking meeting minutes
Ensuring reports are submitted from department heads
Helping with office organisation activities
General duties as defined by the CEO
NONE – no previous experience needed
Flexible working arrangements, including mornings only, afternoons only, or picking 3 days to work each week.
ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Our Gateway (Talented Recruitment Group Limited) will be providing the following training and documentation as part of our Kickstart Agreement:
This includes documents to assist with time keeping, attendance tracking and weekly reporting.
This includes suggested methods to build the young workers engagement with the team and help improve skills such as communication, confidence in presenting to an audience and demonstration of learning and development about a given subject.
CV Creation and Support
A CV creation guide is included which is designed to guide a young worker through the creation of a CV from scratch. We work with the young worker to compose their CV and submit this to the Gateway who review the CV and return with feedback for improvement and suggested amends.
Upon completion of the CV tasks, the Gateway design a mock interview process where the young worker will be interviewed via Microsoft Teams by one of the Gateway’s recruitment consultants. A full review of the interview including areas for improvement and areas of strengths are then provided to each young worker to help them with their future interviews.
