CAMHS Clinical Psychologist, Band 7
Oxleas NHSFT Specialist Community CAMHS
Full time: 37.50 hours per week
We invite applications for Band 7 Clinical Psychology post within the Bromley CAMHS Adolescent Team from candidates from the Clinical Psychology discipline who are registered with the HCPC.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, undertaking mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence based treatment for children and young people including individual, parent-child, sibling, family and group interventions as well as brief treatments. We strive to maintain positive interagency relationships so consultation and training to our colleagues working with the client group in partner agencies is often available alongside the varied direct clinical work.
The service is underpinned by CYP IAPT principles and the post holder would support and assist the core aims of this in the service. This can involve exciting and creative participation work and service development.
We have a large, well-established and supportive Clinical Psychology department that benefits from excellent links with the South Thames (Salomons) Clinical Psychology Training Scheme. We value and encourage your continuing professional development and will support you with experienced supervision and other learning opportunities. As Psychologists, we are well integrated in the multi-disciplinary teams across the service with strong and positive inter-disciplinary relationships.
Alongside South London & Maudsley and South West London and St George’s Trusts, Oxleas are partners in the recently created South London Partnership, delivering a successful CAMHS New Care Model and a new Forensic CAMHS service across South London. As a result, we are developing a number of new services including a new Crisis Service providing emergency care in and out of hours and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in order to help young people to access care within their communities.
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is rated ‘Good’ by CQC and has a successful track record of delivering high quality care and treatment to communities across South East London. The Trust has embarked upon a Quality Improvement programme and clinical staff are encouraged to participate in designing and delivering change that facilitates improvements in the quality and experience of care for patients.
This is an exciting time to join Oxleas CAMHS. If you are interested in joining us, in being part of an innovative, integrated system of emotional wellbeing and mental healthcare in Bromley, please contact us.
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust operates a Probationary Period, further details are available on request.
