If you are passionate about research and have an understanding of the range of settings in which it takes place; if you have experience of managing projects from ideation to completion; if you are organised and can motivate and coordinate and can deliver to a range of quality indicators then the post of LCRN Senior Project Manager could be the challenge you are looking for.

We are looking for a highly competent individual to join a forward thinking organisation whose aim is to maximise opportunities for members of the public to take part in high quality research, making the North East and North Cumbria the best place to deliver health and care research.

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Senior Project Manager on behalf of the National Institute for Health Research Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria (NIHR CRN NENC). The successful applicant will also need to demonstrate line management experience, how they manage time effectively, prioritise work and demonstrate the ability to deliver results consistently to tight timelines, with minimal supervision.

Essential requirements include a higher-level qualification (degree or equivalent) or an equivalent level of experience, substantial experience of working in a project management role. The post holder will be required to travel across the North East and North Cumbria and may on occasion be required to travel out of region.
