Our Out of Home business delivers a comprehensive soft drinks solution for customers operating within the leisure, catering and hospitality sectors. We are a key player in the Frozen, Post Mix and Coffee sector, operating across a range of well-known owned and licensed brands such as Vimto, Starslush, Icee and Douwe Egberts. Our Out Of Home teams are working closely with our customers as they evolve, adapt and plan for the future.

We are looking for someone to join the marketing team as Out of Home Brand Manager, on an interim basis to cover maternity until August 2022.
Brand Champion: In this role you will be seen as the Out of Home brand champion and expert, both within the company and to external shareholders. You will be enthusiastic about your portfolio and our place in the market.
Organisation: The role has a large agenda, a need to manage a number of key stakeholders and has customer exposure. Therefore, it is crucial you are organised and able to prioritise workload.
Communication: You will need to be a confident communicator, choosing the right level and type of communication for the different stakeholders and customers. Your presentation skills, your articulation, your influencing skills and your written word must all be of the highest standard, not forgetting your ability to really listen!
Accuracy: Attention to detail is critical. As the brand guardian you must have a keen eye. You should be confident in your assessment when approving work to ensure nothing is missed.
Adaptable: One day you’ll be thinking about your brand strategy and researching the market, the next you might be helping a team member set up products for an event! As with everyone at Vimto, you will care about the details in the small stuff, as well as delivering on the big stuff.
Resilient: At times you might feel like you’re spinning plates and as with most great companies, things change last minute and your plans can be derailed. The important thing is to accept things move, remain calm and deal with the matter at hand. There’s nothing that can’t be fixed, and our supportive environment means you should always be able to ask for help.
Go-Getter: You often know what’s required before being asked. You should be someone who takes the lead and can ‘make things happen’. So if there is a better way of doing things change it and if you have a fantastic idea, share it!
Team Player: At Vimto we all dig in when needed. In this role you will work closely with and support your peers, sometimes doing things outside of the ‘day job’ for the greater good. This is expected of our people at all levels.
To operate as the Out of Home brand champion within the company and to external stakeholders.
To lead a team of two Trade Marketing Manager’s.
Lead the annual brand planning process across areas of responsibility.
To lead and oversee the shopper marketing programme through your team, across all product categories.
To support the Brand Controller in driving profitable brand growth across portfolio areas of responsibility, in conjunction with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
Monitor and report on brand performance through analysis of market data (in conjunction with category team) and sales data (using internal data sources) and recommend remedial action as required.
Lead and implement key work-streams from the consumer brand plans, ensuring all activity is completed on time, to budget and is in line with the brand guidelines and brand positioning.
To work in close consultation and partnership with the Nichols PLC sales, operations team and external agencies as appropriate to implement the plans.
To ensure the timely and successful launch of product development / NPD projects to market.
Ensure marketing budget delivery against plan.
Brand marketing within the UK leisure and or licensed industries would be preferred but is not essential. Will also consider experienced candidates with Out of Home trade/ shopper marketing experience in these sectors

Experience of briefing external agencies and assessing creative responses in line with agreed brand positioning/ objective
