The key responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to:
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to help develop and implement marketing strategies.
This is a great role for someone who is interested in learning lots of new things over their placement.
Key Skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Experience with various technology platforms, including Word/Excel.
Some understanding of digital marketing processes, or used social media, and a willingness to learn new techniques.
Adaptable to working on various projects
Example Projects/Business As Usual Activities
There will be lots of projects to work on, but here are examples of the kinds of things you will be asked to do:
Writing Social Media posts across multiple platforms and scheduling those posts at agreed intervals.
Writing blog posts that conform to client ‘tone of voice’ and content guidelines.
Search Engine Optimisation – learning and developing the skills required to boost web page rankings on all major search engine platforms.

Our Gateway (Talented Recruitment Group Limited) will be providing the following training and documentation as part of our Kickstart Agreement:
Onboarding Support
This includes documents to assist with time keeping, attendance tracking and weekly reporting.
Teamwork Programmes
This includes suggested methods to build the young workers engagement with the team and help improve skills such as communication, confidence in presenting to an audience and demonstration of learning and development about a given subject.
CV Creation and Support
A CV creation guide is included which is designed to guide a young worker through the creation of a CV from scratch. We work with the young worker to compose their CV and submit this to the Gateway who review the CV and return with feedback for improvement and suggested amends.
Interview Support
Upon completion of the CV tasks, the Gateway design a mock interview process where the young worker will be interviewed via Microsoft Teams by one of the Gateway’s recruitment consultants. A full review of the interview including areas for improvement and areas of strengths are then provided to each young worker to help them with their future interviews.
