JOB SUMMARY
Next Theme Ltd is a web design and digital marketing company based in Weston Super Mare.
The main duty of this post is to look at the range of services and products provided by Next Theme and come up with new ideas, protocols, and products. This position will be the think tank of the business. Reporting directly to the Director and Marketing team, they will learn about the business and be encouraged to come up with new ideas to help keep the business fresh and responsive through analysing business aspects and seeking opportunities for growth.
This position would suit someone with an analytical and creative mind that like to solve puzzles and think outside the box but within a realistic budget. An understanding of cash flow, finance and returns on investment (RoI) would help with putting ideas into financial context. They will present their findings through written reports, spreadsheets and presentations, so good verbal and written skills would be an advantage.
They need to be confident in working B2B and presenting our business in a professional, approachable, and respectable manner. They will be given a customer brief to develop a professional relationship with potential customers, discover what is holding them back and match products and services to fill their needs.

The successful candidates will lease with the marketing team to coordinate the creation of resources to support their work.

In addition to their employability skills, they will be developing their communication skills, work on their own initiative, communicate progress, communicate with internal and external staff and develop their confidence.

SKILLS NEEDED
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can analyse information, extrapolate the facts and think creatively to come up with exciting and practical ideas. They will be a creative thinker, able to work with facts to come to logical plans of action.

Level 2 or above in English and maths, preferably with an understanding of business tools such as SWOT and PESTEL analysis and have studied at level 4 or above in any subject. They need to be able to work on their own initiative, focused and eager to prove themselves.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Employability support will be delivered daily in house, but also via The Stable, our Gateway provider, who will offer employees dedicated support to overcome barriers to employment. Employees will be offered regular one to one sessions with a specialist employment support worker and a monthly group workshop. These sessions will offer individual and group careers advice and guidance, help to prepare a cv, coaching and interview techniques, through mock ‘grading’ and role play. The employee will be asked to build a portfolio throughout the 6 months and keep an on the job training record. A personal development plan will be created in the first week of the placement and this will be reviewed across the 6 months, to create new goals and mark off those that have been achieved.

Each employee will be provided with an induction to ensure they understand the placement and support they will receive, along with details of our complaints and safeguarding policies, should they need to raise any concerns.

The Stable also offers free access to wellbeing activities, from free meditation to yoga and these would be made available to the Kickstart employees, as would the other benefits of The Stable, networking, free events, social gatherings (all covid permitting).
