We are currently looking to recruit motivated, dynamic, forward thinking and enthusiastic scrub practitioners to join our expanding services at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

We are looking for pro-active individuals to be part of our integral theatre teams to assist in implementing, maintaining and delivering world class patient care in theatres.

Applications are invited from registered ODPs/Nurses and those practitioners who are due to qualify soon. Scrub experience would be an advantage however not a necessity as a full training programme will be delivered during your first 12 months with us.

Working at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals will give you the opportunity to work in a large theatre directorate consisting of 32 theatres covering a wide range of skills across both sites in Robotic surgery, urology, colorectal, extensive orthopaedic surgery, major head & neck, complex vascular, plastics, ENT & OMF, Upper GI, colorectal, neurosurgery, Breast, Obstetrics, Gynaecology including benign and oncology work as well as emergency and trauma.

We are looking for Scrub Practitioners who have a passion for providing high quality patient focussed surgical care who have a flexible attitude towards work and a desire for new challenges. As a trust we are committed to the development of future healthcare professionals and theatres is pivotal to these trainees. As a qualified practitioner you would be expected to contribute to their development and support.
