ELFT are excited to be able to advertise for a Lived Experience KUF Training Development Lead to work within the countywide Complex Needs Service in the Bedford and Luton locality to promote, develop and embed the principles of recovery orientated practice across the organisation and beyond.
The successful candidate will have the capacity and experience to engage and support involvement of service users and others with lived experience in the design and delivery of transformed models of care for people with complex mental health difficulties sometimes termed personality disorder. A key component of the role will be working alongside a clinical trainer to co-deliver the Knowledge and Understanding Framework (KUF) training, as well as developing, supporting and co-ordinating a workforce of lived experience KUF trainers. Consideration will also be given to candidates who have previous experience of training and are willing to complete the KUF train the trainers course.
The successful applicant will be well supported by colleagues in the Complex Needs Service and People Participation, and will work closely with the Clinical Education and Training Department, Recovery College and VCSEs within the local area.
