The Role

You will work in our Redhill contact centre, providing full claims handling in relation to home and vehicle emergency assistance to customers travelling overseas and in the UK. You’ll manage the claim, making sure all parties are apprised of the situation until the work is completed.

AXA Assistance UK supports the needs of several hundred clients and several million of their customers in the UK and worldwide. The assistance centre operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.


How can you make a difference?

Joining us as a Claims Handler on a permanent, full time basis, you’ll be an essential member of the team helping our customers over the phone by handling their claims. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships with our customers, based on Integrity and trust.

Working hours are full time, 35 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 7am – 8pm including weekends.

We always put the Customer First in everything we do so we want someone who strives to go the extra mile for them. You will ensure the delivery of excellent customer service by meeting and exceeding customer expectations whilst referring cases to colleagues or managers when required.

You’ll guarantee the accurate and timely completion of case notes, logs and diaries for each customer using your strong attention to detail and remaining calm in the face of challenge to effectively help customers when they need us the most.

We see ourselves as one big team, One AXA and you’ll be responsible for working as an effective team player. You’ll support call handling activity in other areas of the business during times of high demand as well as supporting your colleagues as and when required.
