Our busy education team, Chartwells is seeking an Operational Catering Manager to join their team based in the Dorset area.
Working closely with the Regional Manager, the Operational Catering Manager will be the conduit between the School and Business Lead, visiting sites across the Dorset area on a daily basis to review meal service and support the teams on site where needed. Working with the students and staff on site to understand healthy eating and proactively work with our teams to deliver an excellent catering service.
Through working closely with the client to promote initiatives, the Operational Catering Manager will be responsible for driving sales across the area.
The Operational Catering Manager will have a tailored, partnership approach and enjoy working with student and staff alike to ensure the best catering service is being provided.
The successful Operational Catering Manager will be an outgoing and approachable individual with the following experience;
- Hands on catering experience
- Ability to build key stakeholder relationships
- Good understanding of currently health and safety policies
- A strong background in contract catering
- Managed and lead a team previously
- Excellent reporting skills
