We are looking for a confident, highly motivated, experienced nurse to
work as a Clinical sister/Charge nurse within one of our integrated Community nursing teams. You will be working alongside registered nurses and other health and social care professionals and will support staff to provide assessment, care and treatment to adults and older people living at home who have physical health needs which may be complex and long term.
This position will require you to work autonomously within a designated Community nursing team, to undertake advanced assessment and management of patients with leg ulcers and complex wounds and actively contribute to the prevention of avoidable pressure ulcers.
You will also be responsible for line management of the wound clinic within your locality area.
As a Community nursing Clinical sister/ Charge nurse the successful post holder will support the Band 7 Locality lead and in their absence hold responsibility for the leadership, support and management of a team of community nurses to promote a high standard of nursing care for patients.
