Kent and Medway are part of a National initiative to provide psychological support for health and social care staff in response to the Covid pandemic. Funding from NHSE has been awarded to develop aKent and Medway Psychological Wellbeing hub.
You are invited to be part of this exciting and significant development and to help develop and deliver theKent and Medway Psychological Wellbeing hub.In doing this you will be helping clinicians and key workers how have been traumatised as a result of supporting the nation during the COVID -19 pandemic. This exciting opportunity is part of a national pilot and is hosted by KMPT on behalf of the Kent and Medway Integrated health system, working closely with the local commissioners. You will be helping to promote wellbeing amongst staff in response to the challenging and traumatic events that keyworker staff may have experienced.
The hub will provide assessment and screening as well as some clinical intervention to acute hospital staff. Assessment/screening and assertive signposting will be provided to all health and social care staff. You will lead on this, offering supportive sessions to those who meet the screening threshold and helping them access appropriate services.
You will have strong leadership skills and the drive and flexibility to contribute to a new and developing service.
You will have experience at leading a multi-disciplinary service
You will have experience at working across systems and with other agencies
You will have experience and developing and delivering new services
You will be dynamic and innovative
You will have a postgraduate qualification or equivalent relevant to leadership
