The Tameside & Glossop District Nursing Service are currently looking to recruit a Band 6 Leg Ulcer Specialist nurse to join our Leg Ulcer Team. Our service works across the 5 neighbourhoods of Tameside and Glossop ICOFT and you will be expected to cover all localities.
You will have the support of our induction facilitator alongside a designated ‘buddy’. The role may require you to work across the localities within the District Nursing service as a service need requirement.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an award winning new and developing integrated organisation. If you are a self-motivated, dynamic individual with a passion for community care, this could be the position for you.
You will be working alongside a highly skilled District Nursing and Tissue Viability workforce.
You must be able to demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and the ability to apply evidenced based practice. You must be able to display effective communication skills with patients, family, carers as well as the wider multi professional workforce.
