Ward 4 is a busy, 24 bedded Elective Orthopaedic ward that looks after elective admissions for both major and minor orthopaedic operations. It works very closely with the therapists on the ward to provide a holistic service to patients. Its team of experienced nurses and mentors are well established and it uses the evidence based enhanced recovery programme to maximise its care of patients.

We currently have one vacancy for enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and hardworking care assistant to join our team. You will be primarily assisting the nursing team with care of the patients and will facilitate the smooth running of the department.

Experience of working with patients within an acute setting and/or an NVQ or equivalent qualification would be desirable, although not essential.
