The Future Parks Accelerator Programme is a National Lottery Heritage funded programme. The funding is being used to develop a strategic approach to the future delivery of its parks and open spaces ensuring their sustainability through the delivery of a 25 year strategy. We require a project manager to help embed new ways of working through providing innovative, sustainable options for service re-designs and engagement with our local communities, focussing on volunteering and community engagement. The Project Manager will support the Programme Manager to deliver the strategy by March 2022. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Detailed knowledge of service design and strategy development
- Ability to find innovative solutions to issues and challenges arising from managing complex projects
- Experience of managing complex projects including business planning and budget management
- Knowledge and experience of working with and managing external consultants and industry specialists
- In depth knowledge and application of project management processes and applying them deliver projects on time and within budget
- A developed experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, partners and service users
