We are pleased to advertise an exciting opening for two experienced individuals with a clinical background and passion for Risk and Governance to join our excellent Quality and Risk team within corporate services based at University Hospital Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. Both positions are full time 37.5 hours per week. One position is a permanent contract and one position is a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity. These positions will be required to work across both Poole and Bournemouth sites.
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be a resilient team player and be able to build strong relationships with a range of staff groups and clinicians. You will be confident to work autonomously as required and be able to offer additional leadership to your team colleagues.
The post holders will work closely with the Associate Director of Quality and Risk, the Head of Governance and Risk and other members of the team, to support the delivery of the Trust Risk Management Strategy, maintain the Trust Risk Register and support the management of the Trust Serious Incident and Board Assurance Framework processes. These posts will also be supportive of the CQC Assurance process and delivery of relevant actions as required.
Whilst working collaboratively across the multidisciplinary team and with our key internal and external stakeholders , the Risk Advisors- Clinical Risk will be fundamental in nurturing a culture of patient centred, high quality and safe patient care across the organisation.
The ideal candidates would be looking for an opportunity to enhance their leadership experience and have a keen drive for improvement. We would welcome applicants who have experience of working with highly sensitive information of a confidential nature, is able to deal with competing priorities and effectively manage deadlines. The successful candidates will have experience of report writing and have confident presentation skills. Experience of liaising with external stakeholders would be desired.
