Here at Serco we are looking for an SAP Support Analyst to join our ICT SAP Team in Hertford as part of our Local Government Partnership with Hertfordshire County Council. Under this local government partnership, Serco is responsible for delivering a range of front and back office operations. This includes information, communications and technology services, finance, payroll, HR and support services such as facilities management, customer contact centres and social care.
Reporting to the SAP IT Manager you will provide SAP support, assurance and guidance to the rest of the team delivering IT services to its end-client customers. You'll be responsible for the support requirements, design, build and test and deployment areas of the Application Lifecycle Management. The key aim of this role is to ensure that Serco build and enhance the SAP system to the customers' requirements offering them advice and guidance to ensure they get the most from the system.
What you'll need to do the role:
If you have had exposure to Payroll configuration, SuccessFactors, Concur, SAP Cloud Platform CPI or SRM then we would like to hear from you! Ideally you will be competent and experienced in troubleshooting and delivering solutions using these components below:

- SAP HCM especially SAP Payroll, ESS/MSS, Time Management; Migrations from SAP ECC to SuccessFactors/Concur; ABAP (object oriented and procedural) / Webdynpro; Interfacing and API management – SOAP, REST, NW Gateway; SAP Identity Management, SSO and Authorisations; Portal Administration (including NW 7.5); Workflow; Business Objects; Business Intelligence (including NW 7.5)

Naturally confident, you will be able to liaise successfully with all stakeholders and have the gravitas to build solid relationships to leverage supplier capability. It is important that you can get the best out of practices and processes and are not afraid to challenge the status quo. An appetite and curiosity for learning new skills is essential for this role.
