Seeking enthusiastic Band 5 s to Join our fantastic team at the Horton Operating theatres

Currently we have vacancies for Theatre Practiitioners both Anaesthetics and recovery and Scrub Staff in Horton Theatres. We cover many specialities pre- dominantly day surgery covering a vast range of surgical speciailties including paediatrics, you will also be involved with emergency trauma cases.

Previous experience in theatres is not essential, as a competency programme is provided along with an experienced mentor. Personal and professional growth is actively encouraged and a wide range of career development opportunities are available including professional development support and rotating to other theatres within the SUWON division if the successful candidates wishes to expand their knowledge.

Our ideal candidates will be highly motivated, pro-active team players. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach are also essential. You will work as part of the Multi-disciplinary team providing a safe environment for patients and staff within the Operating Theatre. You will assist with the delivery of high quality care for our patients and be part of the team helping to ensure that we are maintaining all theatre standards.

We are a forward thinking Division that is looking to positively promote team working and efficiency within the theatre environment.

The department provides 24-hour emergency cover, therefore there will be shift work, including weekend working and an on-call commitment.
