Empowering customers to live rewarding and happy lives. That’s when it hits home.
We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team. The service supports our brilliant customers who have an individually designed support package specifically created to meet their mental wellbeing needs. The packages can include support to get out and about, re-engage with a hobby such as golf or fishing, support with shopping or just going out for a walk. Everyone is different!
Your base will be Belmont Durham and any mileage will be paid from there. You will support the customers from their own home predominately in the Durham area, but this may stretch further afield. We support the customers to engage in whichever activity is identified in their care plan. Each visit or activity can be different, one day you might be supporting someone to an allotment or to the gym, the next you might be assisting with some shopping. No two days will be the same!
"Having support has enabled me to do more for myself because the support workers know when to step back and facilitate instead of just doing things for me. It's been massively important for my routine during lockdown and has enabled me to maintain my independence."
