You will join the small specialist highly regarded CAMHS Team for Children in Care which is co-located with Children’s Social Care teams. You will provide a range of evidence based, individual and systemic interventions to meet the emotional well-being and mental health needs of looked after children in Trafford. You will provide consultation, advice and support to the care network to develop the psychological understanding of the children and young people and inform care planning. You will join the lead Psychologist in delivering specialist therapeutic parent training to foster carers & connected carers to increase carers skills and understanding of their young people and promote placement stability.
