On-call: Banding to be awarded

Contract: Fixed Term 4 months

Post to commence from: ASAP until 3rd August 2021

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time LAS in Orthopaedic. We have a deanery gap available at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre to start asap, fixed term period of 4 months with opportunities to extend.

The post holder will work as part of a team of surgeons led by Consultants. This will include ward work ward, clinic and in the operating theatre.

You will cover the specialties of Hip and Knee, Sarcoma, Rheumatology, Rehabilitation and Spinal as part of the Site on-call duties. Daily support to the Orthopaedic teams in carrying out the daily ward rounds, patient admissions, orthopaedic POAC out-patient clinics, and opportunities for operating theatre sessions.

The post holder will be required to work a duty rota. The current rota is a 1:15 full shift rota

Applicants must hold a full GMC registration with 2 years NHS experience.
