Summary


Applications are invited for a 12-month fixed term Clinical Fellow post in Emergency Medicine at the Manchester Royal Infirmary Emergency Department (MRI ED).

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is a major teaching Trust with nine hospitals spread across two main sites. The MRI ED and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Paediatric Emergency Department (RMCH PED) receive approximately 110,000 patients per annum. You will receive teaching each week on all aspects of Emergency Medicine through the Electronic Learning Environment. You will be encouraged to undertake audit and teach medical students.

You will be based in the Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments and Ambulatory Care Unit . You will be expected to assess patients, make primary diagnosis and initiate emergency treatment under senior supervision. There are senior A&E clinicians in the department 24 hours a day for clinical support and advice.
