Summary




Working in a small team at NUH - City Campus you'll report to the Chemotherapy ePrescribing (ChemoCare) System Manager and Governance Lead for ChemoCare. The team are experienced, focussed and hard working. The team are guided by an awareness of the role and it's importance to the safe delivery of chemotherapy. The succesful candidate will benefit from the insight gained working alongside pharmacists, consultants, nurses and other users. Working within well-defined SOPs & participating in team meetings will quickly bring an awareness of the day to day challenges but also bring rewarding experiences as you assist in safe ePrescribing of chemotherapies.

General duties include technical support of the system, liaising with the software developer and handling user queries. As you gain experience you will participate in team meetings, build chemotherapy protocols and conduct user training.

The succesful applicant will be a qualified pharmacy technician with hospital based experience.

ChemoCare Technician duties include but are not limited to:

- Chemotherapy protocol builds/change requests

- Liasing with supplier CIS oncology

- User training

- Support with upgrade to latest version of ChemoCare

- MS Office experience, running reports from MS Access

- Preparation and submission of SACT reports

Typically, succesful candidates have held pharmacy qualifications & knowledge of related areas of pharmacy is desirable.

A unique opportunity is available within the Adult ChemoCare team at NUH. ChemoCare is the electronic prescribing system used at NUH & SFH for the delivery of chemotherapy.
