The Teaching Assistant role is to support the Academy's objectives, this role requires the successful candidate to undertake a variety of activities and care and learning programmes in the classroom, with groups of pupils or individual pupils. This role may also include providing individual 1:1 support for pupils with high or complex needs.

We are looking for someone positive, passionate, caring and enthusiastic and who can engage with children and inspire and motivate them to be the best they can be. We are looking for someone who is able to promote independent learning skills and behaviours for learning.

A level two qualification in both English and Maths, or equivalent experience are essential. A Teaching Assistant qualification would be a distinct advantage for the permanent Teaching Assistant post.

Experience in working in an education setting, classroom management and working with children of a relevant age is essential.
