About the Role
The main purpose of the role is to install, maintain, test and repair electrical systems.

About the Successful Candidate
Qualifications and Skills
City and Guilds 2330 or equivalent
City and Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (preferred)
City and Guilds NVQ level 3
City and Guilds 18th edition
PASMA & IPAF (beneficial)
Experience with leading a small team (preferred but not essential)
Able to work at height safely
Ability to work under pressure, using your own initiative or within small teams.
Competent when working with hand & power tools
Good understanding of health & safety in the workplace.
Installation of containment systems such as steel conduit & trunking
Commercial & Industrial electrical installations
Power & lighting system installations
Use of EICR Software

Main tasks and responsibilities of Electrician Role:
To understand and uphold the Company’s commitment to its customers throughout the sales process.
To meet the customer’s needs whilst ensuring that all targets are met.
To have a sound knowledge of the technical aspects of your role.
To carry out prospecting for new and repeat customers.
To handle customer concerns in a positive manner.
Ensure customer enquiries have been followed up.
Provide installation, testing, preventative maintenance, and repair to various systems that are worked on in accordance with Company and British Standard requirements.
Travel between sites on a scheduled basis and provide regular reporting of results relating to preventative, maintenance, commissioning and post installation inspections, working to a high standard and in accordance with the relevant British Standards
Identify improvement initiatives as assigned.
Provide technical support for colleagues and prepare reports/information for Management as and when requested.
Complete relevant service and call-out paperwork for all types of work in a timely and accurate manner at the time of site attendance – including vehicle mileage sheets.
Mentor apprentices and provide support for colleagues.
Be responsible for the management and security of own equipment stock and ordering stock items when required.
Attend training sessions as required and identify and communicate with Line Manager any personal training and development needs.
